We are proud to announce the latest in Toon technology, coming at you from Bananamuffin Labs! Introducing the revolutionary NEW way to customize Toontown to your liking: Bluestone!
You might notice that if you install the Bluestone Mod, you'll immediately notice some ports hanging around Toontown. You don't know what goes in them, do you? Yep, Bluestone! The Bluestone is a special item you can retrieve from your Estate upon installation of the mod. It lets you use ports to download configurable information. The best part: Most of it is possible to edit, but it had to be done externally. Not anymore.
When you receive your Bluestone, you can walk up to a port and click the Download Data button to collect the data that it relates to. Once you've got data, you can click the Bluestone icon above your Laff meter to edit the data. When you make an edit, click Save to apply your changes server-wide! The Bluestone can only hold onto one data item at a time while you're online, so if you log out or plug your Bluestone into another port, the old data will be deleted or replaced, respectively.
Keep in mind, though, this is being added to a multiplayer online game's source code. Bluestone is finicky as heck, so if we had people switching out data through Bluestone like crazy, the whole server would crash!
