Hello, everyone!
So we were toying around with some 3D models just to try and get a feel for how they work. As you guys might be aware, 3D modeling is a tedious process that just really rails you in the gut if you don't know what you're doing. Here's the tricky part: the fish models in Toontown are in a standard BAM file, which can be turned into an EGG, which can then be turned into whatever you need (with some restrictions.) Our goal is to eventually design a bunch of epic models to use in different mods. Our modeling skills are practically nil, so we're probably going to do slight edits for now and work up. One key edit that we're planning is to elongate the sides of the Devil Ray, add a spiky underside to the fins, and turn it a nice, frosty, light blue. That right there would end up being the Cold Devil Ray.
Anyhoo, I hope to see you again soon. The mods we are creating are quite large in size. In fact, me and Cheddar were calculating today how much we'd be using in MB by the time Arc 7 is finished. According to a Mod List we created, our current schedule would use up about 22 mods at 275MB per mod, equaling roughly 5.91GB in size! But little does he know that there's more... And that in itself will significantly increase the space we need and decrease what we have.
...On the other hand, Technic Park is looking nice this time of year.
